1. for Matt too, particularly if they'd play just before the Jam
i think their set will be very long .. around 40 songs or little less i bet

We've discussed something like this recently, if Soundgarden were to play this festival, the two bands would have to play on different nights for Matt Cameron to play for both bands, no?
  5. yes we said it before .. if Soundgarden will ever be there they'll have to play the day before.
the 2 sets would cover over 5 hours at least for and it's pretty impossible for Matt to bear it in a day.
maybe we could have Chris Cornell on stage with the Jam as an appearance for Rocking in the free world for example or Hunger strike.

Have they (members of SG and PJ) performed "Hunger Strike" together over the past 15-20 years?
  7. yes a couple of years ago, in Los Angeles i think, Chris Cornell joined PJ on stage as guest.
i think it could have happened some other times before too

Plus, i dont know if the dates match but Queens of the Stone Age will tour with Soundgarden and Meat Puppets, and Queens are already booked for the Pearl Jam festival so if they bring everybody together I guess we can expect some nice duets there

  11. "At a Pearl Jam show at the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, California on October 28, 2003, Cornell joined the band on-stage effectively reuniting Temple of the Dog (Cameron had been the drummer for Pearl Jam since 1998) for renditions of "Hunger Strike" and "Reach Down"."

"On October 6, 2009, Cornell joined Pearl Jam onstage to perform "Hunger Strike" in Los Angeles, collectively reuniting Temple of the Dog once again."
