    Definately not Breathe and Moment of Surrender (MOS is as poor a finishing track as I can remember for a long time IMO).

    Was a brilliant Elevation Tour closer,loved it when Larry closed the song with those final bangs on his drum.Could open i suppose.
    "40" is THE ultimate closer but nowhere near as an opener,i've always liked how U2 open and close gigs with current material (although "40" worked perfectly on Vertigo Tour as an old tune).
    Other than that the obvious answer seems to be Vertigo.

  12. I don't know, I prefer a good rock song as opener (something like breathe, bd, whatever), but a more quit, intimate song as closer.
