Of course you have!! An excellent recording of U2's most important and relevant show in ages... it's spreading like oil, everyone is downloading your recording, man Thanks a lot again. If there's anything you want to correct or mofidy from the lineage just let us know

audio lineage looks like this mate

    sky hd>panasonic dvdr>dvd decrypter>dvd audio ripper>wav>audacity to split edit tracks> itunes>mp3>you

  2. Just re watching the interview after the performance. Larry just wasn't into it alt all. Fair play to hm for admitting it. Too wet and the crowd were too far away. He struggled to get through it.

I can add the interview as a bonus as well

here is an example of a menu I made for a Beady Eye DVD I authored a few months back

OMG. Do you work as video editor or what?!?!?! WOW WOW WOW...
  4. pretty easy really. The only limits are the limits of your imagination, just have to understand how the software works

  5. I''m almost glad it did? I kept thinking "Oh God, don't do anything to hurt yourself. We have a date for July 8th!"

They could have started with it, but since they decided not to, the best option was leaving it to set closer, encore opener or even show closer. (Or second to last song, followed by I Will Follow or Out Of Control).

Nevertheless, I'm glad I lived it too

I kind of agree about Streets. But I thought it was cool how they grouped the songs together like it used to be during former tours/performances (ie. ZooTV, Joshua Tree.Lovetown, Live Aid).
  7. I only see poor AVI with HDTV (or at least DVD) as a source. Why not posting the HDTV capture I was wondering (or at least a DVD version????)
  8. Just a heads up:
We do not allow the sharing and trading of:
album songs, singles, b-sides or tracks that are part of any commercial release by U2 or any other third party.

    Sorry, couldn't resist.

Probably no need to do so as the boot is avaiable on here for free but could this be an indication of a potential future release, either on itunes or dvd/cd bonus?!

I said a few pages back that I have a feeling this will be the next fan club release but I think it was overshadowed by Mr. #GlastonburyFail...

I also want to say again how much I enjoy Get On Your Boots and how much I like that the band hasn't seemed to give up on it even though they could have.

I would upload my standard definition vobs but my internet connection is piss poor, so thought I would share a standard 700mb 2 pass encoded avi until a better quality source is shared with the community

  11. Don't you just love how the news tries to make something out of really nothing...

    http://www.drudgereport.com/

Seriously! "Angry protests disrupt U2 Concert." This gets the headline!?! First off, it was a performance not a U2 concert.Second, did anyone who watched it see a disruption? NO!!

    http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/violence-erupts-as-u2-rocks-glastonbury-20110625-1gkbg.html

Violence erupts??? Violence?! That's a pretty strong word. A mere 30 protestors trying to inflate a 6 meter (19ft, 8in) balloon were shut down by security. They probably shut them down to prevent them from embarrassing themselves in front of everyone at the Festival.
