Yes. He has always had that problem but now it's even more notorious. After 2006 (X&Y tour), he started to play less piano and more guitar on the shows, and that means less quiet moments and more movement, jumping around, dancing, etc... Maybe he hasn't been trained to breathe properly while doing all those things. I mean, he's a fantastic frontman, very funny, connects very well with the audience etc etc, but man, your main job is singing! If doing all the rest doesn't leave you sing alright, stop doing it!

  2. I have seen them live 2 times (on TV) in the last month and I have the same feeling at a couple of songs. There are song where I just cant stand his (live) voice, but also some songs where I really love his voice.
  3. there's a torrent of the show over on the pirate bay if anyone cares
i think an HD version of the u2 show is there too (file size is 1.25 GB)
  4. HD and 1'25 GB can't go together in my book. Thanks for the heads up anyway
  5. And it sounds all the same to me
  6. ok maybe not true "HD" but higher quality at least although with todays codecs HD videos are getting smaller in file size no?
not to get off topic or anything
  7. We're not off topic at all, don't worry ... But well, in fact HD videos are becoming bigger and bigger, better computers and more hard disk available means that you can download heavier files, and that's what the download world tends to right now. Look at the Blue-Ray's, those are an awful LOT of GB's for the same playing time as a standard DVD...

On the other hand, I wasn't complaining of the download you recommended to us. In fact, I have downloaded it and I'm VERY happy with the 1'06 GB AVI file (it's located here if someone wants it), it has a very acceptable quality
  8. the new EP is great, Move to Mars will be this album's equivalent of Amsterdam i reckon.

  9. I woudln't go that far, but maybe because Amsterdam is in my CP's Top Ten and Move To Mars hasn't even joined my Coldplay collection ... Nah, seriously, I like Move To Mars (except of of those piano chords, sounds too diatonic to my liking), but then again I completely love love love Amsterdam...
  10. yeah, don't get me wrong, i prefer Amsterdam too.

but it's like chris said, we think "what the fuck?" now, but it may grow to be a favourite.
  11. I can't find their Glasto 2011 performance only in audio
