Kings of Leon - thank you for a truly great concert. You are placed 2nd in my top bands seen in concert now.

    Hi Kieran,

Glad you had a great night buddy Looks like a strong setlist although no My Party

Looks mobbed inside - cant have been far off a sellout? Had a feeling it would be like that - it was busy with buses at my house (Western Corner)

    Anyway - glad it rocked for you mate;
  2. Beyoncé's cover of Sex on Fire at Glasto was insane.
  3. Grat review, Kieran... I understand you had a tough time with the annoying sis&bro and the obese couple, but man, it was SO FUNNY to read hahahaha

    What a packed stadium too

    Here's Sex On Fire:

  4. Sorry, Harry, but I can't agree. I obviously don't count on the I-was-there factor and you do, but from the vids I've seen I just don't like it. Sure it's a nice twist on the song and a fantastic tribute, but I just... don't like it. Not my cup of sex tea.

Hello there Pedro, good to see you back after Glasto.

Yeah, shame about no My Party, as it had been played in previous gigs.

GA wasn't entirely filled, you could have still got a good thousand in there, plus they keep the lower tier of the stadium for people who are standing (which I think is silly). But the upper tier was completely packed.

I'll drop a PM later on. I'd liked to know how Glastonbury went (as in the whole weekend).

They weren't sister & brother, they just looked like siblings! They were going out!

WOW. Thanks for posting the video! That was my favourite moment of the whole concert - 55,000 people singing their lungs out at such a song

'Tis fair enough bud, all, all opinion afterall I haven't checked any Beyoncé vids from the BBC highlights as yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they suffered the same as every other vid. I've checked thus far, i.e. the sound mix was atrocious. The sound was a million times better there, which may impact on one's appreciation of the performances (or not, depending on the individual), but from where I was, which was getting on for halfway back down the arena, her whole set was stunning and her cover material equally so

Sound mix for all headlines was pretty atrocious

  10. Kings Of Leon were forced to cancel a gig in Dallas, Texas last night (July 29) after frontman Caleb Followill walked off stage.

The singer had been complaining about voice problems throughout the band’s set at the Gexa Energy Pavilion.
“I’m trying my best to sing but I haven’t got a voice, I’ve got nothing here,” he said.

After continuing to struggle, Followill then told the crowd after their eleventh song ‘Notion’: “I’m going to go back stage for a second, I’m going to vomit, I’m going to drink a beer and then I’m going to come back out and play three more songs.”

But the singer never returned, forcing his bandmates Jared and Matthew Followill to apologise to the crowd.
“Caleb’s just a little unfit to play the rest of the show,” Jared said, as the crowd booed their decision.
He added: “I know you guys hate us. I’m so sorry, f*cking burn our records.
“I don’t know what to say. It’s not our fault. It’s Caleb. He can’t play the rest of the show. We will be back as soon as possible.
“We would play right now if we could. We’re so sorry. F*cking hate Caleb, not us. Sorry guys.”

There has been speculation on fan sites and other message boards that Caleb was too drunk to perform.
One fan, David ‘Smiley’ E wrote that he believed the singer was “was too wasted to continue”, but others disagreed with his claim.
On Twitter, both Jared and Nathan Followill issued further apologies, but did not explain the reason behind the cancellation.

“So sorry Dallas, your heat got the best of a few of us. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience of all this bullshit. We'll be back soon,” Nathan wrote.
Jared added: “Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. No words.”
The incident comes just over a year after Kings Of Leon cancelled a gig in St Louis when a pigeon pooped on Jared Followill’s head.
A spokesperson for the band did not reply to Gigwise's request for comment when this story went to press.

There are some things not right in this band, I hope they wont split.
  11. I think they will
