1. What the hell is it with this band and remixes? In my honest opinion, remixes are really fucking boring and lame. Maybe if I was a DJ who loved U2 (because that happens all the time..) they'd be great, but I'm not. I want to hear U2, not some kind of studio magic on top of their songs. Don't they realise that B-sides are much more intriguing and compelling than remixes are?

As for Zooropa getting a lame treatment, yeah that sucks as well. I was hoping for a Hold Me Thrill Me demo, a Wake Up Dead man demo, a God Will Send his Angels demo, etc. Maybe even baby Stay (Sinatra).

I'm still undecided on which one i"m going to buy. As much as I hate the fact that the uber set is that much, I really want a pair of fly shades, and I really want the vinyls on top of the cds. SO DIFFICULT
  2. I haven't bought any of the other remasters, why start now?

EDIT: I don't own any. No purchases, no illegal downloads, and yet I manage to survive as a U2 fan.

Wouldn't these make more sense on a potential Pop re-issue?
  5. Given it was released in 1995 when the Pop sessions started and that's when it came out, yeah.

  6. It would make more sense to release the early and the final versions together, imho.
Like they seem to do with Achtung now. Some of these date back quite a while, too.

Anyway, no chance for Passengers, I'm afraid.

  8. My father and I bought every album except for October (boring), Achtung Baby (only vinyl) and Zooropa (not available at the shop). I've got every single featuring a unreleased B-Side since Vertigo and bought every Concert DVD, except for Sydney. Other than that I own U2 by U2 and I visited a concert. And in the end I'm just a poor student of the age of seventeen.

    Sorry for stealing twenty euros.

Aw nice, I thought you genuinely downloaded all U2 albums since you once said that you got a U2 discography. My mistake!

I actually did download a torrent, but I own the CDs as well.

    Nice memorising.
