1. Specially if the show was meant to be a dress rehearsal for the show which actually WAS released
  2. right .. but it should have been better .. something different .. not that i wished that
  3. It would have been mentioned as a possible release, then the band would have broken out into laughter at the thought of even considering it.

But on a serious note what fucking genius would have said " hey lets put the Sydney show in this re-release, sure every fan would already have it, but their copies would have been played to breaking point by now, lets give them a new copy to enjoy, they will love our pro-active line of thinking"
  4. by now of Sydney i have
    VHS recorded from tv
    VHS released
    DVD single
    DVD double

actually i missed the fifth one

  5. PLUS ONE.
Oh, and add a burned-by-myself-DVD with the whole show, including Trying To Throw Your Arms Around The World.

Regarding that, and on a funny note: I wonder if the Über Deluxe edition will include Trying To Throw Your Arms, hahahahahahahaa...
  6. Honestly, we have to accept the fact that we're getting Sydney, and move on. Complaining isn't going to bring anyone a remastered bootleg show. If you want to watch Stockholm, or Washington, or whatever, go and watch it. I know it sucks, I'm a little peeved about it too, I really wish we would've got the Stockholm show remastered, but what's done is done. I'm looking forward to getting the stuff that I don't have, there's no point in getting pissed off about the stuff you already have.

And who knows what the circumstances are? Maybe they did try to remaster some taped stuff, but it came out really crappy or something. I'm still surprised at how well the Paris show turned out, and I would've been surprised if we got another bootleg to turn out that well for an official release. Who knows, I know we don't.

I guess that person says he can tell the difference between a 128 and a 160 kbps mp3 too?

I don't know, you ask the guy? I just specifically remember that news.

P.S. I also remember it not being outside the building, it was actually outside the room, I believe.
  10. Achtung Baby would sound good heard through a subway vent.
  11. I think there can be a pretty big difference between 128 and 160 on a good sound system. For me, 128kbit/s is when it really turns crap pretty often.

Good point. Its just makes ZERO sense,to give us a DVD that most of the fans already have.I paid for the live cable feed in 1993.Showing my age,I know. Then,I bought the VHS.Then after waiting for like,what..10 years ..the DVD when it was finally released.

Now,hold on,Im supposed to buy it yet again ??..LOL....I mean, when PoP is re-released in 2017,are they going to include the Mexico DVD ?.Wow.....Big deal.Guess what,I have it already !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went back, and re-visited the 10.14.92 Interference special.Thats really a nice download. You get a great feel for the tour, and great sounding live versions of 6 AB tunes.Thats actually better than anything we are getting with this re-release.And it sounds great......
