I would. I've never seen the Las Vegas Popmart show. My slow computer won't download big files, and nobody has ever wanted to copy it on DVD for me, so it would be great to have. Not to mention, I have heard the Staring At The Sun Audio, and loved the electric version. The fact that they had mistakes gives the show personality. I like real concerts with mistakes included. I like normal cameras that focus on the band without shaking around like Cornish Hamilton having seizures every four seconds.

I'd love a Pop Deluxe. I doubt it will happen. First, the sound quality of Cds from 1996 until now is not that different. They probably sounded better back then before everything got too loud.

If they did a Pop Deluxe, after the Cashtung Baby failure, I doubt anybody consults a real true fan, so we would probably get a bunch of remixes. Now, if I was consulted, here would be the Pop Duper Looper Deluxe:

CD 1: Original Cd remastered
CD 2: B-sides/remixes/Hold Me Thrill Me, and MAYBE Miss Sarajevo and Your Blue Room.
CD 3: remixes and New Mixes from the Best of 1990-2000.
CD 4: Original Mix of the album that was scrapped
CD 5: Demos and other alternate versions not on Cds 2-5

DVD 1: All Videos, and TV Specials
DVD 2: 4/25/97 Las Vegas Concert with the Staring At The Sun mess included.
DVD 3: 06-15/97 Edmonton, Canada Concert
DVD 4: Pick any European Pop Show Pro Shot
DVD 5: 1/31/98 Sao Paulo, Brazil Concert...should have been the official video over Mexico City!

Yeah, this is a pipe or should I say Pop Dream, but that's what I would give the fans if I was Cash Mcguinness. I would
easily pay $100 or more for this. Anything over $175, and I would be crying.

And guess what? No Fly Shades, No Lemon replicas, No Remix of I'll Go Crazy if I Don't Remix This Song Tonight...none of the typical BS that goes in these sets. I would just focus on the music.
I am not fond of remixes, but All the ones from the period belong in this dream set. Too Bad NOBODY IS LISTENING.

I don't deny that they rushed the album a little (like with more or less every album - hence the "U2 albums don't get finished, they get released" quote) - it's just not the reason, the whole thing fell flat.

In fact rushed is good. In general the best albums in history are recorded in a week and the only thing I generally dislike about U2 albums, is they tend to be polished to death. Good songs simply cannot be ruined by rush.
I dare to assume if NLOTH was released before it was ruined by the 100th take-over, extra layer of muddy mess, and 'we don't know so let's add another layer of undefined sound' it could've been way more succesful. Songs are songs, POP songs are quite strong imo, all the talk about 'rushed mixing' is just plain bull of marketing guys.

True. I think many/most North Americans (not me and other hardcore U2 fans, however), prefer the ATYCLB and even HTDAAB over Zooropa and Pop.
