1. everyone here, thank you for your kind words. As always I'm running late of getting back to you. Well.... you know me by now

okay, the news of the day. another update.

I saw my new neurologist today for the first time. As you know, after the diagnose in February I went directly to the clinic so I was treated only by neurologists there.
But for the future, I need one outside that clinic that will treat me reguarly. For the semi-annual check-ups and all. So today I went downtown to see my new doctor for the first time.
She is a very kind person and a very "routine", professional neurologist. First, she had an EEG of my ol'brain done --> all 100% well. All is working alright in there *knocks on head* Imagine my relief, what with the increase of headaches and dizzyness I've had lately. The doc says it's because of my work schedule, I'm on a "training plan" now to rise my hours of work and get my body system used to work again. The brain has been intruded and that needs a long time to get back in balance again.

So...... my brain works fine. Physically, at least

She then proceeded in taking a close look at the MRI scans done before and after the surgery. She explained it all much more in detail to me than any of the doctors before have done. I could ask all the questions that have kept me worried lately.

Bottom line of today's update: another major check-up, and I got the thumbs up

the only thing still truly bothering me is my high blood pressure and the stumbling, too fast beating thing that is my heart. But that will work out alright as well, I believe it

one step closer to returning home to Ireland. The better my health, the higher the chances I can get on a plane soon. Not tomorrow, as I pray I could and dream of almost every night, but.... "soon....soon...."

Life is a gift. Let's be grateful we have it right here with us, every day.

    next stop:

    endocrinologist in September
    MRI in December
and the odd visit to my GP every other week

  11. well, fair point. I can up with lyrics for sure, got plenty of them in my mind -- but I'd need someone to give me a melody, you know....
