    the occasional thunder and lightening and storm we got here for the past week seems small compared to that sort of thing there.
  4. The bad weather here has broken up and the sun is starting to take a peek at us.
  5. Still pouring here in central MA and really windy from Irene, but it's died down a little from this morning. Lots of branches and debris on our road, still a lot of trees rocking back and forth in the woods near our house. I can't walk outside without bracing myself against something so I'm watching it all from our porch. Seen a lot of snowstorms here, but not a tropical storm like this. Hopefully the power stays on, and everyone stays safe, up and down the East Coast.

    Those people are CRAZY! I saw a news report this morning of people biking through NYC in the middle of the storm...yikes!
