  3. Something's strange about Damien Rice's One is it's all about "I" : "Is it getting better/Do I feel the same" for instance. It's nice though, 100% Damien Rice. It's better than the U2/Mary J. Blige version.

    I'm with you in that I don't get the hate either - it's not a groundbreaking cover, but I like it all the same. Prefer it to the Damien Rice version, although that also isn't a travesty of music, unlike, say, the Cheeky Girls.
