    Best tracks for me:

    Once
    Alive
    Evenflow
    Black
    Jeremy
    Release
  2. Ten is a masterpiece.

  3. Yup...

Maybe should add Porch to that this, however. Come to think of it, many of the live versions of that song are better than the studio one.

I was at this gig,as well as the Newark (05.18) and MSG 2 (05.21) gig (EPIC)...N1 was amazing, and has been overlooked IMO....The crowd both nights at MSG was insane..great gigs....

I hadn't really listened to Bushleaguer until recently and didn't realize it was (so overtly) about GWB. I really like the chorus to that song - for both the music and lyrics.

Will take your 2003 recommendations under advisement. That'll come after the 2006 mix.

I also plan to make a mid-late nineties mix (lord knows when) using tracks from the Melbourne '98 show, if necessary, Live on Two Legs (although I'd rather find other boots), and other shows from the No Code and/or Yield tours. Is there anything else out there that sounds as good as that Melbourne show?

I burned all my shows to cd,hundreds of shows from 2003 (mostly downloads) to 2010.The 2000 tour I have complete, bought all 72 gigs on cd,over time.Thats my favorite tour.I love the boots, the way they were packaged.

The mix for Italia 06 or Europe 2000 etc ,I dont use cds for my mixes.I just do a playlist on my iPod.If I was goin to use cds,you would need at least 3 for a proper mix.

Besides Melbourne,Seattle 07.22.98 is a soundboard, and sounds great. My gig at MSG,09.11.98 is an amazing show, but the sound is not half as good as the Seattle gig.Its an amature audience recording.Im not into audience bootlegs, thats why I blast U2,for the fact they release nothing live.I think one reason is,the fact they basically play the same setlist every night.Yes,U2 add a song or 2 here and there, but it is what it is,as far as the main set.Where PJ,their sets are so different every single show.Same goes for Bruce and DMB.
  7. Thanks for the Seattle '98 recommendation. I'll give it a listen. I am working on Seattle 2000 mix (just the last two shows of the tour - amazing coverage of their catalogue in just two shows!). I thought of working with these shows since they're widely celebrated but then, oddly enough, I realized that the one and only time I've been to Seattle was in, you guessed it, 2000!

I do a CD mix as an attempt to merge the tracks between multiple shows better...to create a seemingly long concert...well, a two-dsic PJ "show" would be about 36 songs, which isn't that much of a stretch for these guys.
  8. sometimes just a single show has a 3-discs release .. first show of the Gorge boxset for example

    True.Mansfield N3 '03,Buffalo '03,State College PA '03,NYC N1 '03,Mexico N3 (or N2) '03...alot of 2003 gigs are 3cd sets that I have......lol
  10. PJ shows are indeed long. I'm just finishing up my Seattle 2000 mix and fit it onto two discs by:
    i) editting out a lot of the crowd noise between two songs
ii) left off a couple of tracks that maybe should be on there. No need to name them.

    Next: Mexico 2003
I'll be sure to include Release on this one.
