    I get you but I think you should listen to "One Step Closer" one night, when you've had a long day and/or a little too much to drink...

    It's not a great tune but it's not all that bad....

  4. Wow I actually like the Horses cover a LOT. It's underplayed, it's very different, but not in your face different like jack white's cover is. The verses especially, the change from major to minor add a really neat effect (reminds me of Perfect Circle's cover of Imagine).

    Very cool.
  5. The Garbage cover is ok, Jack White's cover of LIB is prob still the best (though it's not that great, but I do like the solo).

    Pity Damien Rice's cover of One was rather lackluster - was listening to some of his other work and was very impressed.
  6. Damien Rice sold himself short imo, he could have made it just a bit better ALTHOUGH i still like and understand what its going for... it's undoubtedly Damien Rice.

    Patti Smith, i like it. i wouldn't have thought of it that way but it makes sense. if its as good as i think it will be i want it played at my funeral

    The Killers - sounds just like how i expected it to be, INCREDIBLE.

    Snow Patrol - ahaha i think it sounds good, need to listen to it more. not TOO out there thank god (it could have gotten awkward if they attempted it exactly like the original with the "funk" element cuz they aren't that particulalry funky imo)

    Brandon sounds almost exactly like Bono in that clip, my girlfriend thought it was the U2 version...

    At first I thought it was too, only slowed down. It really doesn't sound like him at all. I'm not going to judge based on that clip, I want to hear the entire thing, but I hope we get some Hot Fuss Brandon voice/vibrato in there for the bridge part.

    Glad to hear I"m not the only one who likes the garbage cover too!
