the fray's ttyaatw is excellent as is the killers uv and i was suprised with acrobat too. biggest disappointment was mw as i would have expected better from someone as big as snow patrol.

suprisingly no one even tried a big ringing guitar sound edge style, most reverted to subtle melodies, gues they tried to be un-u2 as they could.

I think this cd didn't suppose to sound like U2, it's not a tribute CD but a cover CD. It's more "how would you play it?" I guess. You cannot cover U2 with trying to sound like them. You have to make the song your own or you are a tribute band.

I don't really like Glasvegas, but their version of 'Acrobat' is insanely good - probably the best cover on the album.
