  4. Is there a torrent of this that will look good burned to a DVD, or just the .avi? (.....or is the .avi HQ enough to look good on DVD?)
  5. The AVI which I have is 700 MB so it will look a bit less than decent when burned to DVD. But I downloaded it when the movie had just been broadcast in the BBC, now that the official DVD is out there's a high chance that we'll see a flood of MP4, MKV and other HD formats. Keep an eye on our thread, Jeremy.

    That extras are surely not enough for such a release, but I am DYING to see those performances.

  10. One of my favorite writers on the internet is this guy named Drew Magary, who writes for several sports websites. Every week on Deadspin he writes an NFL preview, and at the end, he always suggests a movie fans of terrible teams can watch instead of watching their team play. This week he picked From the Sky Down, and I thought what he wrote was funny.
    From The Sky Down, a documentary that chronicles the backstory of how U2's "Achtung Baby" was made. I don't know how the rest of U2 haven't murdered Bono yet. At one point during a studio session, Bono tells The Edge he'd like him to sound "more abstract." There can't possibly be a more useless creative direction for a musician than that. And Bono needs to play the music over and over again in order to form the lyrics to the song. He doesn't just go into another room with a joint and start scribbling shit down. No, no, you gotta sit there with him all fucking day and play that shit for him until he's come up with lyrics that don't make any goddamn sense. I'd kill him. I really would. That aside, not a bad movie. WARNING: Bono and the Edge often serve to narrate the movie, and their voices sound EXACTLY alike. Half the time I thought Bono was referring to himself in the third person, which made me hate him all the more.

    Jst thought someone might enjoy thoughts from someone who isn't a die hard fan.

    As for those extras, I feel like when it says "acoustic performances" it means the ones we saw bits and pieces of in the movie.
