1. I'll definitely be going Man Utd vs. Ajax at Old Trafford
  2. Won again, yeah
  3. congrats Bart .. for sure it can't be said it's luck

PSG seems to want to replicate ac milan .. first Leonardo then Ancelotti and now they wanna spend 61mil for Kaka and Pato
  4. 61 mil for both Kaka and Pato? Dont think thats enough

Ronnie do you think Sneijder is going to Man United? I read some rumours about that transfer.
  5. i've heard there are again rumors of that, for 35mil i guess .. there are rumors about Man City too .. but i'm pretty sure it won't happen in this session .. more likely in june .. more if Ricky Alvarez grows good in these months.
Zarate should go away in these days though
  6. I hope Sneijder will go to United, hopefully not to City.
What about Vertonghen? Read something about him? and Chivu, will he stay at Inter or go to Ajax or Real?
  7. there are very weaks voices about them .. but again not for now .. we've just taken such Juan (:? )
maybe there will be an exchange Vertonghen/Chivu also because i don't think Lucio will stay next year
  8. Meant to post last week about the Celtic v Rangers derby on 28 Dec....

Not only did we (Celtic) beat our bitter rivals as overtake them at the top of the table (having been 15 points behind 6 weeks ago), the first tune that came out of the PA system at Celtic Park after the full time whistle was New Years Day! A great way to end a great day!!!

p.s reminded of me of 1998 when 'Sweetest Thing' was played after we beat the 5-1

Man City must understand that they can't have everyone. There is a limit in the Premier League for registered squad members and with the players they have, someone is going to miss out if they keep buying. United however can easily send Macheda out on loan and then buy someone. Man City would struggle with the loan unless they paid the players wage on behalf of the other club.
  10. Tim do you think United need a player like Sneijder, because I think so. He could bring more creativity from the midfield.

In the centre of midfield they are lacking some creativity. At the height of their dominance in the 1990's they played with Keane in a holding role whilst Scholes played more advanced and created chances. Now I think Ferguson is trying to do the same but not as direct. Carrick would almost be perfect to fill the role of Keane, his range of passing is far better than Keane's was but his defensive game is a little poor. He sometimes looks lost in midfield. Anderson and Cleverly are the main attacking midfielders and both aren't up to scratch compared to Scholes. Park Ji-Sung could fill in the Roy Keane position but he'd have to learn to control his movement.

Wesley Sneijder would be a good addition to the squad because he is attack minded in a way that only Nani and Giggs are in the current squad. Nani has been in great form recently but is limited to wing play. Giggs has been played in the centre quite a lot over recent years but isn't as infuential as he used to be on the wing. He's very much a utility player now, very dependable, will always play well but has less of a creative impact.

Defence also needs sorting out. Ferdinand isn't consistent anymore, he's slow and sometimes clumsy. Still a top defender on his game but it's time he was replaced. Vidic is arguably one of the best in the game but he's injured now. Also doesn't help that he hasn't had a stable partnership for a while because either him or Ferdinand aren't fit when the other is.

EDIT: And what to say about De Gea?
EDIT 2: Are you coming to Manchester next month?
  12. No, coming to Manchester is going to be impossilbe since I have exams than But I will visit the home match, United has always been of my favorite teams so when they play Ajax I really want to be there. Only bad thing is the time (7 o'clock), and I wonder if the atmosphere in the stadium is going to be just as good as during the CL matches I visited.

I think De Gea is a great goalkeeper but it is very hard to play for one of the biggest teams in the world when you are that young and of course he isnt as good as Van Der Sar
The defence of United is pretty good, Vidic and Evra are in the top 5 of the world at their positions imo but I think Ferdinand is getting to old and the right back, still Smalling right?, isnt a real back player. Maybe United could try to get Van der Wiel from Ajax or Walker of Spurs (sorry Andrew ) Jones is a great talent but I think Evans isnt good enough for United.
The middfield is pretty solid but no real stars there Carrick, Fletcher, Park and Anderson are all pretty average players imo. Cleverly could become a great player. I think Sneijder would really make United better.
