Would like to get them if they are available. Thanks in advance!

If you head to this thread and go to the last page, LikeASong posted a Mediafire link to some covers that were previously uploaded. I downloaded it yesterday and they look great.

    Here's the link for convenience - http://www.mediafire.com/file/9wzwp9a713kf19v/U2_-_Über_Deluxe_Box_Set_Alternative_Covers.rar
  2. Have they now stopped manufacturing the super deluxe? Or is it going to be labelled as a limited edition but not really type of thing?
  3. What do you guys think of "Near the Island"? Personally I think its great. I would love to hear more instrumentals from the band in the future.

    I agree, it's great.
  5. I thought NTI was absoutely amazing and one of three reasons to go back to the bonus disc.

It's up there with something like Yoshino Blossom and Alex Descends for me.
  6. i think i like all of the outtakes and "new" songs. I think oddly NTI has the most play counts from the Uber set ahaha

The start of Yoshino Blossom is haunting. Instrumentally, U2 have some really strong tracks:

    Bass Trap
    4th of July
    Boomerang I
    Yoshino Blossom
    Near The Island

Not forgetting some stuff off of Passengers too:

    United Colours
    Theme From The Swan
    Theme From Let's Go Native
    --------------
Near The Island is a wonderful track, I think the peacefullness of Bass Trap, cut by the harsh Yoshino Blossom, which in turn is soothed by the serenity/reflective quality of Near The Island would make a good listen/soundtrack/Passengers Pt. II (*puts them into a playlist.

Some of those are cool but I feel like they lack something (Bono) and then I just don't enjoy them as much.
  9. ^Have to agree with you. For some reason, I need lyrics/singing when it comes to listening to U2. Same goes for other bands I enjoy. For instance, "Treefingers" on Kid A is a track I always skip. However, putting together a mix of all of these instrumentals might be an enjoyable listen.
  10. hey people, can someone tell me if achtung baby uber has at least one UV live complete footage?thanks!
