1. Nice!

I'll need to get RITFW and BO'R covers in there.
  2. "MUST HAVE" 2000 gig tracker:

    Detroit
    NY 24th
    NY 25th
    East Troy
    Chicago
    Columbus
    Camden/Philly N1
    Camden/Philly N2
    Pitt
    San Diego
    St. Louis
    Tampa
    Fresno
    Virginia
    DC
    Las Vegas
    Seattle N2

Total: 18 (Same as number of ape-man designations - and European dates haven't been included)
  3. DC great version of RITFW...I will include it Matt..Babba O'Riley from Philly N2 as well
  4. Thanks for the direction. Too many NA shows in 2000 for me to go through!

An eventual 2010 NA miix will be interesting. Just 13 shows but about as many different songs as 2000.
  5. Just take your time Matt..thats why the mixes are so useful..I listen to alot of shows on my iPod,while Im at the gym each morning......eventually you have to listen to all 18 gigs....the 4 gigs in Sept.2000 are amazing....
  6. Any preferred 2000 versions of:

    Leatherman?
    Leaving Here?
    Soldier of Love?
    Fuckin Up?
  7. Yes....Leatherman from either Pitt 09.05 or Chicago 10.09...Fuckin Up Detroit 10.07 and Soldier of Love from Boston,08.29 leavin here D.C. 09.04...I have Leavin Here and Leatherman in my set for Sept 2000 Ill list later on...Soldier of love is in my August 2000 mix,and Fuckin up is in my 3 nights in Oct mix....
  8. So what's the lesser of two "evils?"

Start the disc 1 of the compilation with:
    1. Long Road
    2. Of the Girl
    3. Sometimes
    4. Release
(and likely start disc #3 with Oceans)

    OR

Start disc 1 with Long Road and Of the Girl
    Start disc 2 with Sometimes
    Start disc 3 with Release
    Start disc 4 with Oceans

In either case, I hope to make Sometimes, Release, and Oceans "removable" (i.e., they can be removed from the mix and the transitions between songs still sounds clean)
  9. Well...I dont like starting each disc as if its a different gig...its starting the show over 4 times..but thats just me..thats why I have so many different mixes from 2000....so i guess choice 1 ??????

I would go with Long Road from Virginia, followed by Oceans from West Palm... with a 2 disc mix from Aug 2000.

Then I would do a totally different mix, with the shows from Det, East Troy, Chi, and St Louis..opening with Release from Chicago...2-3 cd mix

Then open with Of The Girl from Boise with a 2cd final 3 gigs mix..Boise Seattle N1 and N2

The last mix Im listing is the 4 gigs from Sept 2000..it opens with Sometimes......
  10. In the end, the multiple mixes seemed to be the way to go but I still plan to finish what I started here and rethink the process in the future - after I have giving all 20 or so shows multiple listens. I just need something to do. It's a shame that these five great songs sort of end up getting the shaft while what I deem to be lesser songs get played more frequently - and thus make it onto mixes more often. Also, four 2000 NA will only have one "Alive" - I need that song.

  11. What might be best is three 2000 mixes - one for each leg - of two or three CD's each.

Start Mix/Leg 1 (Europe) with: Sometimes and Of the Girl
Start Mix/Leg 2 (NA July/Aug) with: Long Road (and Oceans?)
Start Mix/Leg 3 (NA Oct/Nov) with: Release and Of the Girl

Not all songs would make it onto each list but this guarantees almost everything played in 2000 makes it onto at least one compilation - and I get two versions of "Alive."

    Suggestions welcome.

    (I'm losing it, aren't I?)
  12. Your not "losing it" Matt....u just have Pearl Jam-mania.....once u get it..its hard to shake off.My wife laughs at these "serious conversations about Pearl Jam"...as she is the adult obviously....lol

Next thing you will find yourself doing.......road trips...as seein them in your own city is simply ...just not good enough...lol

Then....you find yourself bookin flights to Europe...that's another level of madness.....lol
