    Mr. O'Herlihy, I guess.
  2. Am I the only one who found the U22 cut of Real Thing from Mexico City underwhelming? I'm sure the crowd was fantastic, but guitar/vocals didn't quite thrill me. Edge's Digitech Whammy didn't sound like it was in full force. I know little about live sound mixing, but feel like they could've picked a better show - La Plata? Denver? Jersey?
  3. Just listened to it through headphones for the first time and the sound is phenomenal!!

Really? Honestly I think it's perfect.
  5. Yeah I agree with Alex....also that was the beginning of a new leg, and with the history of the tour up to that point nobody knew what to expect...opening with that blew us away.

No, I'm part of the 'not a fan' group. But I am not overly fussed with it, not because of the recording as such, but more so the impression this arrangement of the song on this tour has left on me - much prefer the zootv/popmart originals (sorry, don't mean to get off topic).
  7. I just think Bono's voice didn't sound good as it sounded in other shows. Still awesome though
  8. Just dropped $50 to become a subscriber! Very excited for U22! Some people would say that it's a bit much to pay for a single live release album, but some people aren't U2 fans.
  9. I really like the mix and don't really mind Bono's voice. i think he sounds fine, Even Better's not really a song where his vocals differ all that much from performance to performance imo so i don't mind

the recording captures the excitement of the opening though
  10. Yeah ok I'll renew again. Like I wasn't going to anyway....

Indeed. It's not a song where he either gets it doesn't, like Bad or Pride, because there aren't that many high notes or anything in it. It was usually always 100!%
