1. I have to disagree, I believe the ball is grounded in goal before the knee touches the touchline.

But ultimately sport will have these decisions and who knows what it may or may not have done to the ultimate result. South Africa stood at it and took their chances when they were given. You can't beat a line-out like that and a metronome like Montgomery (look how much they wanted him there - they left him on the pitch when he could barely contribute in open play).

But I agree, England can definitely hold their heads up high; in the end, after a shaky start, a worthy and valiant defence of the title and they almost did it, stifling the usual play of three big teams along the way.
  2. Can someone tell me what happened when some fan or demonstrator ran on to the pitch i missed that bit. What did it say on his shirt?

Yeh, someone got on just at the start at the 2nd half. I missed what it said on his shirt but he was carted off without much ceremony. Someone's job will be on the line for him getting on in the first place
  5. Congrats to South Africa

there was another guy at the end though that they didn't show. They guy at the start of the first half was just a twat but whatever happened at the end was a tad more serious apparently. The commentators bsolultley slated him, 'calls himself an England fan? Well he's not, he's just a jerk and an idiot'
  7. I just came back from The Stade de France, Paris. Even though I'm not a rugby fan at all I drove with some friends to Paris (from The Netherlands) to watch the game on a big screen next to the stadium. Together with a couple of thousands England and South Africa fans it was an really cool place to be. It was so much fun to drive all the way to France to party with all the Rugby fans over there....it realy was one of the best nights in my life.
Just wanted to share this little story....any of you guys was in Paris last night??
