1. Sky Sports F1 HD will show live GP2 and GP3 races.
  2. I can see the reasonign for the apparent aerodynamic improvement, but agree that it looks rather odd.

Force India also carrying the same nose:

  3. Well its not really an improvement comparing to the 2011 cars, its just that the maximum nose height has been lowered. So the dent is just to pass regulations, while preserving some of the 2011 'aerodynamic'.
  4. McLaren did it beautifully.

  5. That new Ferrari looks like it was built out of Lego. McLaren is the best so far, as much as it hurts me to say that.
  6. The RB8 is launched tomorrow, that's the one we're all looking forward to. Class apart last season (Sorry Vettel, but skill can only get you so far).
  7. This Williams is vile:

I could've owned the wheel off one of those though for £50 a few months ago, nowhere to put such an item.
  8. heres a link with all the new cars so far, it seems the McLaren is the only one without the step on the noise; have they missed a trick or do they know something the other teams don't? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/16872627

  9. Interesting to see how it pans out. McLaren would have an immediate upper hand if the smooth nose provides better speed. They would've of course tested the nose thoroughly and must be satisfied with it if they haven't considered the step nose. Here's the RB8 (missing from that gallery)

Red Bull have built an air duct into their nose, channeling air into the body as oppose to over it. Interesting idea.
  10. McLaren don't have that little dip on the nose because the ride height of their car is so low, that they can get away with it.

Also, Toro Rosso don't have the dip on the nose either. Their nose is incredibly thin.
