1. So before we go on to rate U22 based on one song, let's not forget that it's just one song!

There are still plenty of songs that I am excited to see get the high quality official release treatment!
    Just to name a few...
    Magnificent
    The Unforgettable Fire
    All I Want Is You
Until The End Of The World
    The Fly
    One Tree Hill
    Stay
    Zooropa
    Out Of Control

Another thing to remember is that "official release quality" is not equivalent to "DVD quality." In fact, my experience is that official release quality is even greater than DVD quality. So yeah, still a lot to be excited for!
  2. I can't wait to hear them all to be honest, hoping it'll be a fantastic release. I'm happy with the choices
  3. If you want examples regarding what live album releases sound like, listen to Window In the Skies (more specifically, Zoo Station and Kite on that release). Even the production quality of Wide Awake In Europe was fantastic in spite of what people said about poor song selection.
  4. U2.com put out "The heart is a bloom" video of Beautiful day from U22 .. don't know it is only for subscriber but anyway (from youtube) ...

  5. Bad - 2010-10-08: Stadio Olimpico - Rome, Italy
Magnificent - 2010-09-11: Letzigrund Stadion - Zurich, Switzerland
Even Better Than the Real Thing - 2011-05-15: Azteca Stadium - Mexico City, Mexico
Beautiful Day - 2009-08-09: Stadium Maksimir - Zagreb, Croatia
All I Want Is You/Love Rescue Me - 2010-12-14: ANZ Stadium - Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Moment of Surrender - 2010-12-19: Subiaco Oval - Perth, Western Australia, Australia
Until the End of the World - 2011-05-14: Azteca Stadium - Mexico City, Mexico
The Fly - 2011-07-02: Vanderbilt Stadium - Nashville, Tennessee, USA
One Tree Hill - 2010-11-26: Mt Smart Stadium - Auckland, New Zealand
Zooropa - 2011-06-22: M&T Bank Stadium - Baltimore, Maryland, USA
Out of Control - 2011-07-09: Hippodrome de Montréal - Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Mysterious Ways - 2011-02-18: Cape Town Stadium - Cape Town, South Africa

Have we figured out what shows any of the other songs are from, based on those u2.com clips?

"Stay" was reportedly from 2011-07-05: Solider Field - Chicago, Illinois, USA

  7. Was't it either from that show or 2009-09-13 Chicago? Either way, nice versions.

    Two more:
    Ultra Violet: 2010-10-03 Coimbra
    I Still Haven't Found: 2009-09-20 Foxboro

I'm really looking forward to getting this.
  8. Stay was from 2011 TUF might be a hybrid of many performances because it wasn't perfected once
  9. I see U2.com is having a "predict the running order" for U22... Just trying to keep us occupied while they take their sweet ass time...

TUF sounded great, but not nearly like it sounded way back in the day. But this isn't surprising at all.
I personally felt that TUF sounded the best with Bono's voice back then.
  11. Hi everyone, I mainly lurk here on the forums so this is my first post. I'm a longtime fan of 30 years and and a collector. I've also been on u2.com since it's paid site in 2004 and just this year got a bit fed up with how Live Nation has taken over the site and treats it's fanbase like bastard step children and opted out.
I remember the blue room in 2000 and listening to feeds in 97' during Popmart, a lot more fun back then to say the least. I've been reading this thread, and have finally come to the realization that U2 will not make every single fan happy. With that being said, I have put together my compilation of the 'Best Of The 360 Tour'.
Most of you will already have most of these tracks from one source or another but they are excellent audio from multi- cam dvd's, U2ube and IEM recordings. I 60 tracks are individually uploaded so you can pick and choose what ever songs you like in wma files. I think they follow in respect to the house rules, but if the moderators feel other wise, I can understand if it was deleted. Not a problem. Just wanted to spread the great music that has brought us to be the best fans in the world!

    Hey this is pretty cool!
I believe the main policy regarding U2start is that they cannot have downloads to songs taken from official releases. That most likely means anything from the Pasadena DVD is not allowed. But I was looking at the stuff you've gathered and I noticed something... Vertigo Acoustic? That sounds very interesting.
