1. Not really looked. But I've heard a few RHCP songs, and I've never thought much of them. And since I determine my favorites in different parts of music by the music they produce, and not their technical proficiency (the fret olympics on youtube will be better anyway) I doubt he's my favorite.

  2. Not a fan of RHCP but Flea on bass is just...epic
  3. My earplugs just came in the mail. Ordered some industrial-grade coned ones with a hollow tip, really snazzy stuff...supposed to reduce sounds, not block it, preserves the levels and frequencies and all that.

Cost me more than I'd like to pay for a little pair of earplugs but I tried them in and they fit my ears like a glove, can't wait to try them out at shows.

Also, once they go in, they're invisible, which is pretty sweet. Can't see I'm wearing them at all
  4. The mail that Royal Mail couldn't fit through the door was actually a vinyl. It was Thriller, the album! For £3.50 too, bargain!

Hysteria ins't the only legendary bassline he's done

Was it the 2008 version, the 2001 version or the original 1982 one?

I have some of those. Mine were pretty cheap, but they did a GREAT job of reducing sound. Mine not not only made everything quieter, but it made everything much clearer. Suddenly I was hearing little nuances that my drummer was doing that I had never heard before amongst all the noise. At one point I asked my buddy "Hey when did you start playing that guitar part in the chorus? Sounds great!" and he said "I've always been playing that.." and I said "Oh..". But yeah, they do wonders for me, and I'm sure they'll do the same for you!
  10. cheers to all the (few) women on here
