  11. Yes, I do. Well, of course I do not the first time I actually heard the album, because I was probably not born... But I do remember the first time I listened to it. It was a hot, May/June evening, and I was on the car with my mum. It must be around 1999 or 2000, I already had a good English level, and listening to that songs while reading their lyrics was... So special. The songs that struck me the most back then were Running To Stand Still, Exit and Mothers Of The Disappeared. They still do I remember dropping some tears with One Tree Hill and Mothers, too. I still do

    Where's the 'I approve completetely in its entirety' button? That's an incredible story - tears as well. I did the same when I heard Streets for the first time live - it has that effect on you.




    This song, unknown what it's called as it's not written on the disc. No idea, all I know is it runs 5:00 or so.

    This incredible layer of echo, delay, chamber-effects and reverb all at once, then into these drums with the most incredible bass line, so deep yet so...undescribable. That was Where The Streets Have No Name. There's something special there. And it still does that. To this day. Words, lyrics, poetry, meaning, prose...boom. All arrived. In that five minutes.

    And I still can't tell the difference between ABC News and Hill Street Blues.
