1. Yeah, important to note that the CDs may be taking so long to produce because they aren't technically for sale, so the production company could list it as a "non-crucial" project.

These are just theories we're throwing around, of course.

    this sounds about right...
  3. Theories are all fine and well but I just want my discs, NOW!
  4. Like I previously stated, this type of thing could've been done and finished months ago as soon as the voting was finished by anyone here that knows how to use a audio program (to mix the songs). It shouldn't have taken too long to figure out a running order, anyone can see that there's a logical playlist within those songs.

As far as producing the discs, covers, and all that jazz, I've no idea how long that sort of thing takes. Maybe it got held up or something and that's what's taking forever. It's hard to say, but I don't think I'm alone in that I can't help but think this could have been finished a long time ago. Seems like they're taking their time with it for no reason (as far as they've told us) at all.
  5. I think we're getting very impatient.

But as each day passes without the statement of a concrete shipping date, the possibility of U22 being released as a "One Year Anniversary of 360" becomes more and more likely. I've marked July as the tentative release date on my calendar (explaining why my shipping address is currently set to my home as opposed to my university residence). Additionally, if I'm wrong, I'll be pleasantly surprised, assuming it is released before July. If it is released after July, I will just be surprised.
  6. As long as I can remember, Duals, Medium and all the other subscriber CDs took very long to be shipped too, and no one was as impatient as you are now
  7. Could someone either post or pm me a link to the 45 second clips of all the songs. I missed the boat when the megaupload link was posted a while back.

    ta,

    Cooko

This goes to show you that it is live material that the U2 fans want as part of their subscription as opposed to repackaged b-sides.

  9. The few companies that still produce cds are not doing well in the global recession, and also can't be too happy with cds being on the way out as a format, and would knock out a project like this in a few weeks at most. With that being said, it is not likely a crucial project for whoever is responsible for the fan club to begin with.
  10. well well, All I Want is You / Love Rescue Me is available for download! SOUNDS GOOD
  11. SNIPPETS AND ALL
  12. Definitely did not see that one coming. Checking it out now.

EDIT: Started listening to it on iTunes... 9:57?!?!?!?!!
I thought it was a mistake or an error with the file, but yup it really is that long, complete with all the glorious snippets. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this song will be the longest track U2 has ever officially released. I was looking through my playlists and the only official releases that come close are Bad from Rattle And Hum (8:08) and Bad from Wide Awake In America (8:03).
