UEFA changed the rules, stupidly. Because Chelsea were 6th and won the Champions League, they are eligible for the Champions League. Had Chelsea lost the CL, they wouldn't have been in Europe at all next year. That, therefore, makes Tottenham get the UEFA Cup spot because only 4 English teams can get into the Champions League. There used to be a 6th place to get into the UEFA Cup, I believe, but UEFA scrapped it. If that 6th place still existed, Tottenham would've been in the Champions League. Even Joleon Lescott said that the UEFA should change the rules back.

Even though it is a shame that Spurs never got into the Champions League, they are still in the Europa Cup, which isn't that bad. They have a better shot of winning that than winning the Champions League.

Spurs won't lose Bale. They might lose Modric to either of the Manchester teams or Chelsea, but I can't see Bale leaving. Spurs just need to strengthen their team - especially the central defence.

KEEP THE BLUE FLAG FLYING HIGH

Is it me that thinks Chelsea played very mediocre last night? Their defence was the best part but overall, they were pretty poor.

Chelsea don't necessarily have luck on their team, they have a few of cheating, unsporting and disgusting players. Drogba, Cole, Ramires, Mata, Terry... you name it.

If they don't keep di Matteo, then I hope they fail badly next year. Because it would be a stupid decision not to keep him.
  3. What a great striker Falcao is, he's becoming one of the best. Take a look at this amazing goal he made in a friendly this week. The most amazing goal of the season for me Hands down for Falcao.
