  3. I just mean the quality/sound of his voice sounds very 2004 to me. The songs themselves don't really sound like anything old which is nice.

    Indeed. The Beach Clips were full fledged songs. I remember digging them during the Summer of 2008 (Magnificent, UC, Breathe, GOYB)

    Bono sounds pretty crap in the first clip, second one he sounds much better.

    but the 2nd clip isn't a new clip at all,

    i looked in my archive, and i already have that clip (but then the duration is 42 seconds) that clips is from a soundcheck they did last year,
    so nothing new, sorry guys

  12. Hmm, interesting - it does sound more like their early 2000s work ie. pop and mainstream rock rather than alternative.

    Where did they come from? When were they recorded?
