    They wouldn't understand what it means.

    On the back second line, there's a Model Number. Just wondering what yours is in case it's a faulty batch. I got A1238 - don't quote me that it means anything particular.

    there was a faulty batch of the ipod touch. Week 38 I think but it's well documented. Theres been no mention of faulty batches of Classics

    Bad LCD screens they were or something. As long as it gets sorted that's all that matters.

    thats it. I'd be happy with a new one. The girlfriend scraped the fromt of it. The actual alluminium part and it looks brutal

    Mine was scratched to death in the first two days. Why did Apple keep the aliminium part? It should be the same type of material as the front.

    the aluminium is the front part. Anodised aluminium. Thats where she scraped. The back just gets murdered

    Not necessarily. Open-source software such as Audacity, OpenOffice.org and Linux are starting to make a real dent. But they stuffed up with Vista, big-time. I've never seen anything so terribly messed up.

    Gerard, you said in another thread you got the iPod back - how's it doing? Have they fixed your issues?

    its still with them dan. 'Diagnosis Pending' is its status at the moment

    Uggghh.

    What a kop-out. Either the set is flawed or it's not. Surely even the trained chimps they have working for them can work that out?!

    I even put a note in with the ipod telling them whats wrong with it
