also weird not hearing Larry's drum part about to go into SBS afterwards... once again, too much Slane. lol
  2. There is no such thing as too much Slane.

    But I personally prefer Boston.

    1) The Fly
    2) Stay (recording trumped only by U22, but by a landslide)
    3) Bad/40/Psalm 116/Streets is unbeatable
  3. I'm actually surprised they did go with this version of Streets... noticed Bono comes in early at one point and Adam kinda messes up his bass line at one point. I have to say I like the snippet at the end tho

    Here's how I see Streets.

A snippet at the beginning is extremely powerful, especially Amazing Grace, Hallelujah, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, Psalm 116, even Bono's Africa speech.

For a snippet at the end to elevate the song, it better be a damn good one. In fact, I have yet to hear of a snippet at the end of Streets that radically elevated the song.

I think the Fly on the Vertigo Tour was better, but I love them both dearly. It's The Fly, you can't go wrong. Looking forward to see how it sounds on this release, the preview is good at least...

    Stay

and may need to go back and give that one a relisten on Bad/40 but Psalm 116 into Streets is probably my favorite...and I may as well give that a relisten too

Hell, its 2 AM, where is that DVD...
  6. My last final exam is on Thursday at 8 am (west coast time). Even though I've got the tracks from U22 with me, Psalm 116/Streets is my driving force and sustenance until I break through.

  8. College! Thanks dude!
  9. LOL at Zooropa... "WHAT THE FUCK??"

EDIT: Adam's bass is fuckin' incredible in this recording!!
  10. Loving the fact they've kept in all the snippets!! Walk On!!

I think that they've chose that one solely because it has that snippet... Amazing performance imo. Bono's vocals are incredible all the way through U22
