For me, the stand-out tracks are: Bad, Zooropa, One Tree Hill, Unforgettable Fire and With or Without You. WOWY surprised me...I thought overall it was kind of lame on 360, but this version has some great sound...I just wish they had extended the outro a little bit more! Bad and Zooropa are just fabulous. I LOVE the AIWY snippet in Bad and the questions and bass in Zooropa.

The disappointments are all relative, but I'm not nearly as impressed with UTEOTW as I expected to be. I absolutely love the track and loved it every time I saw it on 360 - but this version with the Sinatra voice/snippet just doesn't work for me. I also think the version of MOS on WAIE is much superior to this one (even with the hokey vocal enhancement on that version). Streets is just OK here...this version doesn't seem to capture the awesome energy that is Streets as well as others and I definitely miss the segue/snippets leading into it.

Overall though, no real complaints. Just a great collection.

Keeping my fingers crossed we get the non-CD tracks as a Holiday download or something....

The surprise before MoS didn't have any influence at all in your opinion?

That alone was enough to convince me that it was the best performance of the song in the entire tour.
  2. I don't suppose it's still possible to (legally) get a copy?

    Good luck.

    Amazon price: $179.99

Ebay: lowest bid is $43 with over 20 hours left. Most common bids were at around $99.

I'm not the one who needs it! Mine should be in the mail!
  4. I like how earlier we were all saying that there's no way people would be able to sell this for over $40 since people would just subscribe to get the gift.

    Boy were we wrong.

  5. i dont know, im lucky cuz i attended to one show, the performances are very close, this is a U2 thing, they are so professional, keeping the performance very close each show(the main change is before/after bono's back injury)

anyway, its useless i say i dont like this tracklisting, i guess 70% of it is the same on pasadena. so, i just made a separated folder with these : ALL I WANT, EBTTRT,TUF,ZOO,STAY,OTHill,UV,MOS and Bad.

the bootleg of this version of bad are sooooooo close to the u22 version, almost the same. one tree hill is the best one in my opinion.

  6. One Tree Hill is the best. As I mentioned in the review I posted a few pages back, good luck finding a recording of One Tree Hill from either Vertigo or 360 that's even of average listening quality.

I don't know why, but for some reason all the shows in which One Tree Hill is performed have no high quality sources available. I also noticed that New Zealand/Australia is particularly guilty of this trend. Nearly all the bootlegs available for the Australia gigs during the Vertigo Tour are below 3 stars in terms of listening quality. The 360 gigs have somewhat better bootlegs, but nothing greater than 4 star listening quality. The unfortunate consequence of this is that no amazing recordings of One Tree Hill exist post Lovetown.

    Until now.

Is that true? What about the awesome second saitama show? It is not a 5 stars, but it is definitely a good recording, and certainly - in my view - one of the best vertigo shows.
