As strange as this is for me to say, I think the weakest track out these 23 heavy hitters is Streets. But I believe this is because there are so many recordings of Streets out there that far surpass the 360 tour performances and exist in a high quality format, the most notable example being the Boston and Slane DVD performances and maybe even Chicago and Rose Bowl.
Oh good I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I was really hoping they would at least include a snippet leading into the song, especially since we've had so many great ones. Amazing Grace, Hallelujah, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, even one performance with You'll Never Walk Alone at the end of Walk On leading right up to Streets.
I find the Streets version is weak. One, Elevation, COBL & Walk On ain't great either. All the rest are pretty satisfying, taking performance and sound into account.
By the way, has anyone in Ireland received their cd's yet. I'm still waiting... hopefully later today.
I love Streets - absolutely adore it - but I agree that they kind of blew it on U22. The performances don't seem to be as strong on the bootlegs (althought it was awesome being at the show when it was played) and the lack of a transition song takes it down another notch.
Oh well. As it's already been stated, we have Boston and Slane...and Sydney..and Mexico City...and The Point Depot...
i like the version of still haven't found. something different.
Not all songs are good, but we already have strong versions of those songs on other live-releases. So i don't see the point of complaining.
