1. I've just received mine today...

Gotta say that the packaging is fantastic, thumbs up u2.com!!
  2. I am currently out of town at the moment but when I get back I think I am going to create a playlist of "U22 +More" and throw the likes of Crazy from Artificial Horizon and Mercy from WAIE SBS from Duals, Unknown Caller and maybe Amazing Grace/Streets from Duals or at least Amazing Grace. Someone earlier also suggested Vertigo from the Hall of Fame which is also great!
  3. I've made a six-additional-song mix that includes Boots, NLOTH, Vertigo, Crazy, and SBS from the Rose Bowl as well as Mercy from WAiE. Just increased the volume on the DVD rip and got the transitions working relative well.

It's not too bad if I may say so myself.
  4. When the U22/360 excitement has died down a year or two from now, I think a great mix might be made using songs from all of the live U2.com releases.

Think about it, there's ZooTV Sydney, Hasta La Vista, Baby, Slane 2001, U2communication, Artificial Horizon, U22, and even Duals. It could be "beefed up" even more if you used WAiE and the U218singles Milan tracks (available on itunes).

Pretty much every "essential" U2 song made it onto one of these CD's - except 40, I suppose.

40 can be used from Under a Blood Red Sky or the Live in Paris iTunes collection
  6. 40?
    Vertigo Live From Chicago?
  7. Oh, right. The 1980's collections! How did I forget those?

Admittedly, I sort of dismiss the concert included The Joshua Tree reissue as it was a show that didn't include Streets. Seems silly they didn't use a show with that one.

Indeed. But I'm not sure of any other pro-shot shows they had that weren't soundboard recorded (meaning zero audience sound, which is what was so good about the Paris boot)
  9. Makes sense and the rest of the show is indeed solid. I just couldn't believe they released a JT anniversary show sans Streets.

  10. They need to release that as a CD. That DVD has a lot of jewels on it. Songs like Electric Co, An Cat Dubh/Into The Heart, Running To Stand Still, and 40 haven't been released in an audio format post 2000.
  11. Very true - they only release partial shows for the Vertigo tour so Chicago makes sense (although I wouldn't scoff at a full Milan show.)
