    As you might guess, they are an occupational hazard!

    3 cats - Josh (guess what inspired that one ), Murphy (wasn't allowed Guiness) and Indy (wife's a huge Harrison Ford fan)

    2 Labradors - Swirral & Huw

    Thyroidectomy is removal of one or both of the thyroid glands (situated in the neck between the trachea {windpipe} and jugular vein), usually because they are cancerous and overproductive. The metabolic rate is increased (heart rate goes up, lose weight, eat more, lose hair, increased blood pressure) and untreated it is fatal. You can use tablets but the cat has to be on them every day for life which can be a faff. Surgery is not without its risks but is curative in 95% of cases and needs no follow-up meds.
    This cat will be discharged today.

    Good evening fellas. Just a bit of study, I also attended to the medic consult to know how am I actually. I'm far better than my mum, I'm healing very quickly and they hope me to go out next weekend. My mother is going much slowly, his fractures still almost intact and they had to change her plasters just because the ones she had were not actually helping at all. Anyway I'm quite good now. (Thanks for asking)
