    Yeah, I had read that too, long time ago. Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ironic_(song) ) says:

    It is a great song btw, as is the whole Jagged Little Pill album. Got an used version of it last year for €1,99
  10. Yes, all that analysis is completely over the top in my opinion. The song is just great, and it could be called "bubblegum underground" and it still would be great Ah, the critics.

  12. When it's an Alanis Morissette song, it's bound to have irony.

    When a critic starts to delve into the song, it's ironic that they don't understand it. Maybe it should be also known as 'It is what it is'.
