1. What Bono sings before Moment of Surrender?

I feel like the ones I got were defective now...I ordered a pair of the over the ear ones, and they were just ALL bass. And by all bass I mean there was barely any higher end coming through, which left rock music sounding very muddled and crappy. Of course rap sounded great through them though.
  3. I was listening to Zooropa the other day on a pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones and I heard, at about 1:40, the opening 'noise' from the beginning of Until The End Of The World very low in the mix. It's amazing the difference shelling out for decent equipment makes.
  4. Still not received (The Netherlands)

For about 2 weeks I am on holiday and want to listen U22 in the sun near the swimmingpool with some beers.

I listened to the downloads on U2.com, great sound but missing a "U2 orchestra" in some of the songs.
  5. Woo! Got retweeted by U2.com!
  6. Yay, it arrived in my mailbox in Miami. Now waiting for it to get to Costa Rica

  7. And I don't get all the hype over it. It doesn't last all that long.

Anyway just listened to it all the way through and I love one tree hill, the opening to beautiful day and the end to one.
But honestly not one of my favourite versions of streets!.
  8. I think the party girl snippet as well as the all I want is you snippets are a bit useless. Party Girl because you obviously had to be there to understand where it was coming from, on the album it makes it feel like even less of a complete show (although I realize it's not). But it just seems out of place and kind of "there". The All I Want Is You snippet is just redundant with the actual song being the next track on the list.
  9. I think it's good that they aren't cutting in the songs. I'd be disappointed if they messed with that version of Bad.
  10. The whole point behind the Party Girl snippet (thanks for ruining the surprise, by the way) was that it was a spontaneous act. It's also a very humbling way to introduce a final song. I especially like it because it shows the human side of the band. Great performances of MoS are everywhere, but there are only a few performances where Bono really allows himself to reach out to the crowd leading into that song.

Surprise? It's already been talked about somewhere around here. Explain to me how it's a "humbling" way to introduce the final song, and how it shows the human side of the band. Also, I don't really see how a Party Girl snippet is reaching out anymore than him just talking is.
