1. A lifesign from the other side of fun - a zillion examinations behind me. A minute ago they shaved off some of my hair (not cool),have lots of buttons on my head now, waiting for MRI scan now, computer will calculate the exact way the surgeons will have to take tomorrow. No fun over here.
  2. Updating U2start while going through all of this...I can't even imagine.

If you're strong enough to do that, you're strong enough to kick this thing in the fucking ass.

I know your own pride is what's going to help you Walk On, but I'm sending you all of my American love on this 4th of July- may tonight's fireworks and celebrations share your honor.

We'll all be thinking of you
  4. I dunno how to quote via phone, Matt, but yeah I indeed intend to kick this thing in the f***ing ass. This tumour bastard will not get me down.

That being bravely said - just back in the room now. When I lay in the MRI tube a few minutes ago, I suddenly decided that I really have no fun doing this anymore. I feel like going home. My friend D. said to me the other day that I have definitely spent too much time in Ireland already, as making jokes in the darkest hours is such an Irish thing to do (don't believe that? Remember who sang when 0:4 behind Spain ;-) ). That might be true. But right now I just don't wanna be fun anymore. Can I go home and forget all this? Maybe?

    ...

Thinking that my brother is on the way to MY Snow Patrol concert in Cologne right now using MY ticket makes me want to f*** this situation again, though.
    Ah whatever,no choice anyway.
That woman lying next to me won't stop talking, goodness SHE's a pain in the butt, really. I shall tell her to travel to Ireland, one storyteller more or less won't really make any difference. Yawn.
  5. Okay, now I'm really fucked. One of the docs was just here to explain the surgery in all details to me. Compared to that, last year was a walk in the park.
The fun is gone now for good, no interest in acting Irish anymore. Excuse me but the doc went out with saying he wishes me "all the luck in the world for tomorrow" - wtf, tears and all. Have to call home. Going offline now. If you have some good wishes to share tomorrow between 7 and 12 o'clock, send them my way,I'll gladly use them :-(
    Love ya, u2start.
  6. I Hope and pray for you that everything become good with you...
i think you are in a lot of minds of us U2starters ....stay strong !!!
  7. When in doubt MacStripey or Kirsten, Pray!
Yahweh, I would like to see many more U2 shows!
    Please.

Hey, we have nothing but good wishes all day and all night long. You're going to bring a lot of smiles to this forum when you return And when we see you holding up that rock again in Ireland next January, with even more strength than before, we'll all to you!

Just remember tonight, that there's an overwhelming number of people, family, friends and forumites that are right behind you.

    Speak to you soon
  9. Oh, don't let it get to you. You'll get through this, no matter what, ok? We're all here for you, wishing you all the best and knowing that it will turn out alright. Just keep it up and this will all be in the past soon
    See you back right here!
  10. Much love to all of you from Kirsten. I just spoke to her on the phone and she's quite more positive than she was 2 hours ago when she wrote that last post... She sends massive amounts of love to you all, so please you all send massive amounts of good wishes, good thoughts, good luck and love back to her. She could use it tomorrow when the time comes. Thanks in her name
  11. Good that she is more postive now again But its completely understandable to be down when you hear such a shittie message.

We just hope and trust that everything will be alright and like everyone said before when you need someone to talk too, you can always find us here
