1. That's another matter and more a thing of personal preference, Olof. I don't have laptops anyway

It's shit indeed, I won't buy a new one though, at least for now. Will use my work laptop instead, which is not as good looking ah well
  3. I hate the people that work in airport security - especially in America. They are so moody and have a terrible attitude.

Where was it you were off to, Remy?

To Valencia, Spain. It happened at Schiphol, Amsterdam, the place I would least expect it. But I read on the internet that it happens all the times in luggage controls, because there is virtually no control to what happens "below" an airport. They even sell stuff to each other.
  5. It really doesn't surprise me that they are like that actually. That's disgusting.
  6. Didn't you do work experience at an airport once, Kieran? Did you see anything suspect looking back?
  7. Yeah, I did but I was doing what my dad does - and that's maintenance work around the building and outside. That means baggage belts, runway lights and all that. So I didn't see too much security. Although I asked my dad if any of that goes on and he said no. In British airports, there are many camera around the security area so that something like what happened to Remy can't happen. If something like that has happened, it's likely that the situation is different in Dutch airports. Also, the security staff at Edinburgh Airport are extremely polite so you could never imagine one of them doing that.
  8. Does anyone here use mediafire? I used to have a free/anonymous account that allowed me to upload a few files. I've had access to my uploaded files wiped out before due to some sort of "resetting" on my computer - shit happens - but now I cannot even reupload my stuff without creating a log in. Has mediafire made some very recent changes?

Also, when I close mybrowser, I don't stay logged into U2 start even though I "check" the box that should keep me logged in.

Any thoughts? Are these two things related to some setting I've "accidently" set on my computer?

    Thanks in advance!
  9. Ok...all of a sudden I am staying logged in - nice!

Mediafire is still "not working," however.
  10. Mediafire should still allow you to annonymously upload stuff - although I find an account something really useful to have, in order to have all your uploaded stuff gathered together.
  11. Can I assume that you have one of your own and it is, for lack of a better word, "safe?"
  12. Yes, I do and it is Many U2start bootlegs are hosted there, and lots of personal stuff and things I uploaded just to share with some people, etc. And everything is gathered together in my free account. Really useful. Only thing I lack is the ability to upload more than one file at once - that feature is part of the MediaPro (e.g. $$$) thingy, but I can believe without it but with a reliable hosting service for free. Get yourself an account, dude
