1. The Kindergarten album is so, SO amazing. Re-listened last night and fell back in love.

It is simply remarkable how that lets you take an album you've heard a million times over 20 years, and experience it for the very first time again. I've never felt that before, being able to re-live that "first time" experience. So wonderful, and perhaps the best part of the reissue itself.
  2. Agree with you (Matt, is it?). I listened to some of the obviously different songs yesterday - Wild Horses, Ultraviolet, Love Is Blindness etc. Easily the best part of the reissue for me. 'Baby' Wild Horses is my favourite off the album

    Yep, It's Matt

Wild Horses, One, and Zoo Station are my favorites off of the album.

It's funny that you mention this, because I was listening to Kindergarten online with a friend of mine the other night (Sunday night) and we were saying exactly the same. I adore some of these early incarnation of legendary songs... Ultraviolet and Horses leave me speechless every time. I'm not so keen on One but my friend loves it. And we both agree that Love Is Blindness is much, much, much more painful in its Kindergarten version than the one that made it to the album.
  5. I still cant decide if I like how, in UTEOTW, he takes the last verse up the octave. The "In my dreams / I was drowning my sorrows" bit. I think I like the finished album version more.
  6. agreed on UTEOTW. I've really taken a shining to The Fly's different lyrics (although the final versions perfect)

I really DO like that last verse, bumped an octave higher. I really do.
  8. Seems the prices for the deluxe sets have gone up considerably, especially if you check amazon, where normally prices drop after a while
  9. I think the KINDERGARTEN album/takes are ICHIBAN too!
  10. Does anyone know if there are (or ever were) a set of posters featuring the images from the back cover of AB.

Like the set of 16 mini posters featuring the front cover images?

I am specifically after the image featuring the moon from the back cover (or a scan in high enough resolution to print)
  11. I listened to some of the remixes today. They are just so friggin' cool. Great stuff.
  12. I love some of the remixes on there. I hate to say it, but sometimes I think the Perfecto Remix of Mysterious Ways should've been the version on the album
