1. also... Anyone ever compared the opening seconds of Runaways to the opening seconds of Cowboy Christmas Ball? I literally thought it was Runaways for a good 15 seconds, and then the bells started. Biggest WTF moment I've had in a while.

I think that it's one of their best songs ever.

'and if they drag you trough the mud, that doesn't change what's in your blood' Just wow.
  3. Love this new album. Especially Way it Was and Battle Born. Just wow.
  4. I am REALLY starting to get into this album the more I listen to it. (This is the 6th spin now I think).
  5. Bought tickets today at 10 AM during a class (a lab at that!) can't wait to see them in December.
  6. I had such trouble getting seats to MSG yesterday. It was sold out in less than 2 minutes online. Luckily I tried my luck and called and was abe to get 2 tickets. I had an easier time getting tickets to see them at Webster Hall which was a very small venue. Lately its been very hard for me to get tickets online to popular events. Ive been going to concerts for more than 15 years now and I feel like its harder than ever to score good seats without having to pay double on Stubhub. Anyone else have similiar experience?
  7. Harder than ever? Probably. Although I think it was harder to get tickets online back in the early 00s, with slower and worse connecrions and servers, than now. I've succeeded in getting the last 8 or so tickets I've tried in the internet for sold-out, very popular events like Muse, Coldplay x2, The Killers, U2 x2, etc. Maybe I'm just lucky
  8. Here's MY dilemma. December 15th (when they play Toronto) is when I might see them, however that's smack in the middle of my exam period for university. If i have an exam the morning of the 15th (9 AM - 12 PM) I could still make the concert, but if I had an exam the morning of the next day, I wouldn't be able to do it, OR if I had an exam on the 15th in the afternoon or night. So basically there's a good possibility that I won't have exams during those times, but there IS chance that I might.
Should I go ahead and buy them? Or no?!

I'd do it. If worse comes to worst, you can always sell them for more on Stubhub haha

    Coldplay tickets: $205 a piece.

Well worth the price though, I was 20 feet from stage right. I do hate StubHub though.
  11. I was online right at the sale time and the GA floor was completely sold out already. Bullshit presales.

Couldn't pull up a pair anywhere in the arena, singles only. Skipping this.

I know dude i was crushed. I was on the presale and at 11:01 it was sold out. I was lucky enough to score 2 but I did it on the telephone. I dont trust online sales anymore with tickets. There are 50 "pre-sales" nowadays so thats not exclusive anymore and the scalpers certainly get what they want before we do. 2,000 tickets on Stubhub by 11:03.....really?
