    Ya i agree with alot of what you said Alex. I think that Animals is a grower. I wasn't feeling it my first time either but I am a big fan now.

    Today was the first time I gave the album a full listen-through following the given track list (missed out on the iTunes stream). The main thing I noticed was the difference between Animals and Follow Me, so that could have led to my initial reaction. I'll be keeping Animals in my playlist to see how it develops as I listen to it more.

    I revisited it and I was about to post here that "Supremacy and Follow Me are the best tracks in my opinion" then another paragraph on my other opinions, but thought I'd double back and see what I put originally. No change, but I do appreciate aspects of other tracks a little more now.

    I, as a guitar player, can't deny the fact that Animals might be the BEST guitar work that Mr. Bellamy has done in studio so far.
  6. Animals got me straight off, from watching the making of vid. Class song.
    I would probably go Animals, Supremacy, Madness, Idolated System and Big Freeze as my top 5, in that order.

    I'm quite surprised at the lack of information regarding the stage, setlist, tour details, etc. Muse is supposedly one of the biggest "current" bands nowadays, together with Coldplay. I can't believe that no pics have surfaced and no one is awareof how the stage is, etc. For Coldplay, there were some people who sneaked into the venues (like myself ) and took&shared photos of the stage. For U2, there was plenty of information regarding the stage and the rehearsals held before the 360 Tour.

    And what about Muse? Just 4 official pics and vague setlist guessings based on a 200x200 pixels section of a photo. What's up with that? Do this guys know how to keep a secret, or do they not count with a smart-enough fanbase? If I were in Montpellier, I would have sneaked into the venue at least once

  8. It's a bit harder to sneak into an indoor venue. If they close the doors then there's no way in surely. You could still do a tour of the Camp Nou when the claw was nearly complete.

    Fair play to then for keeping leaks to a minimum. Would love to be going.

    I sneaked into the 2 biggest indoor venues here in Madrid, the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas for Coldplay (well, not sure if that counts as an indoor but it's got the size of a normal arena and holds 18.000 people) and the Palacio de los Deportes for a Spanish band (the exact equivalent to the Montpellier arena). One just has to know how to do it... And of course be keen to do it. I just think Muse fanbase isn't used to the whole tour procedure, they just go to the queue and enter the show, no waiting for them at the hotel/venue doors, no sneaking, no sweet-talking to the staff, etc. A shame.

  12. I'm surprised by the lack of news as well.

    Strangely though, the stage setups that Muse has used in the past have never really been memorable for me. The Killers have obviously got Brandon's iconic synth as a centerpiece and even Coldplay's stage was pretty memorable for all the graffiti used. U2's stage designs are extremely memorable (no-brainer here).
