1. I also picked up the famous 1975 Earls Court show - soundboard recording. Led Zeppelin's that is (I'm in the wrong thread!).

It's funny how spoiled we are these days with newer soundboard recordings. I'm sure it sounds great compared to everything else from 35+ years ago but compared to what we get nowadays, it sounds pretty bad.
  2. mini-show yesterday in Paris

Route 66 (cover di Bobby Troup)
It’s only rock ‘n’ roll (But I like it)
    Shattered
    When the whip comes down
Champagne & reefer (cover di Muddy Waters)
    Doom & gloom
    Miss you
    Start me up
    Midnight rambler
    Tumbling dice
    Jumpin’ Jack flash
    Brown sugar.
  3. I would have enjoyed the end of that show. Those last four songs are, obviously, great.
  4. I would have enjoyed the first 6 tracks the most because during that run it probably felt like they could go anywhere with it (OMG, C&R without Buddy Guy must have been GLORIOUS). and yes, for JJF and BS as always haha and MIDNIGHT RAMBLE <3
  5. A great setlist for that little show even if it does have Start Me Up.
  6. I'm with you. That's one of the most overrated songs of all time.
  7. I've heard it so much that I can't be arsed hearing it ever again, and I'd be happy if I never ever did hear it again.

Definitely should have Come On, As Tears Go By or Infamy in its place (particularly for Infamy if they want a newer song and to give Mick a rest).

  8. :O

    KEITH LOOKS SO OLD
  9. He is.
  10. At those prices you have competition haha

U2 is the richest band in the world

  11. True, but he didn't always look or act like it LOL (Licks and Bigger Bang tours seemed to have Keith still in decent playing shape imo)
  12. At least he's looking his age now. But then again, old rockers never grow old, because they're doing the least old-fart thing you can do when you're old, which is rockin' when you're old.

Plus he's wearing a bandana or a headband or something of the like. Which means he's also doing it right.
