1. Good point.

I opened my email and got a message from the Soundgarden camp:

Thanks again for ordering King Animal from Soundgardenworld.com. The pre-sale this morning sold out very quickly for all three shows, but we wanted to remind everyone that there is a general on-sale at 10am local time tomorrow (November 9th). Tickets are obviously very limited because of the size of the venues. Good luck!

I didn't even try. That said, I didn't even think there would (or SHOULD) be any tickets left.
  2. We could have a "Seattle" topic but I think we've proven that PJ deserves one of their own. Not too sure how well Nirvana and AIC topics would hold up seeing that both bands are done/missing their original lead singer.

Soundgarden appears to be doing well in this forum.
  3. Looks like SG are playing two more shows (Sound Academy) in Toronto in January (25th and 26th).

    Presale begins Monday.

I suppose I'll give it a second go.
    I suppose.

Well if you had a Seattle topic, we're not going to close the Pearl Jam watering hole. They've proven that they can exist outside of a generalised topic.

But if you guys want to discuss other bands that have less following on here, a general topic might just do the trick. If you're environmentally friendly, you could always recycle an old topic:

    Favirote Grunge Band

Yeah, Aaron wrote the title. I can always rename it to reflect the topic of conversation better. Up to you guys. Just don't create another Pearl Jam topic
  5. Well....I'l have to run it by the others...Ron and Ed have more authority than me on such issues.

(I make that statement since they've seen more "grunge" shows than I have. I think that's fair.)

what do you mean with the last statement? hehe
  7. Ron,

Maybe you'd know the answer to this:

The upcoming shows for SG will be selling tickets in three "waves" ...

    1. Monday to Soundgarden fan club members.
    2. Wednesday to King Animal purchasers.
    3. General sale on Friday.

What is the SG official site? SoundgardenWorld? I koined (for free) today but does that put me ahead of people who also pre-ordered King Animal or is there another site/fan club?
  8. soundgardenworld is the official one
Tim Bierman, same of 10c, is involved there .. don't know exactly what role with though
  9. But there's no membership fee there (unlike 10c) is there???
  10. no as far as i know there isn't .. yet
