It's too bad none of these new songs were eligible for U22 - and FTGU, I presume.
  2. I maybe be alone on this one but I am hoping the war horses and classics make this list - along with the great rarities. MOTD is a must.
  3. Your Blue Room has to make the list, I'll be really disappointed if it doesn't.
  4. I'm on the fence with Your Blue Room.
  5. To me it's more than just the song, it's the fact that they were willing to risk playing it to huge crowds probably most of which had no idea about the song. It was one of the few songs on this tour when we all went "whoa" that they played it, along with UF, UV, Scarlet, and so on. On top of that, it gives me goosebumps whenever I hear the live version.
  6. Also, the band could have gone into the studio in the last 12 + months, recorded Every Breaking Wave,North Star,Stingray,Glastonbury and Mercy.A nice seperate 5 song (E.P) cd.,along with the 15 live trax that Edge picked.I wonder, are they just going to forget about those songs ?

I agree..that shocked me,and I loved it....but,my whole section was like "What the hell song is this ? "....

Then again,in 2011,my whole section didnt have a clue as to what song Zooropa was.I mentioned to a few around me,that U2 actually released an album called Zooropa in '93, and I got these looks like...really?..lol

MOTD yes,NYD we have so many times live. The unreleased tunes should make it.At least North Star should.
  9. I would be disappointed if more than two of the 2010 songs were on the next studio album.

The difference between Your Blue Room and The Unforgettable Fire/Ultraviolet is that they nailed the second two. Your Blue Room is an absolute gem on Passengers but I don't think it came across too well live for me (perhaps I've been listening to the wrong bootlegs).

The Unforgettable Fire had a great light show, thanks to the 360 screen. Ultraviolet (Light My Way) had the smoke, the jacket and the microphone.

Your Blue Room is a great song, but not for a giant arena with the biggest stage design ever.

    I see it this way...

TUF is one of their best songs from the 80s (probably in the Top 5).

Ultraviolet is one of their best songs from the 90s (same as above).

Your Blue Room is a very nice relaxing song, that's all.
