I listen to it every single night in bed. Lossless file, great headphones . . . sends me to another place.

That's if you get it from the DVD itself...*cough*..."cough" me if you need help *cough* ... damn! Has asthma gone contagious or something?!

Cheers mate. I have actually coughed this one myself a little while back, but thatnks anyway. I'm just away from my home at present so I couldn't check it.

On balance I think I'll go with the album version, even though I love the R&H version. I agree about the atmospherics. Especially when the bass comes back in.

I may have to volume boost though, it's deathly quiet to start.
  4. What do you make to my list as it stands then?
  5. Yea...that's what makes the whisper effect happen! And if you raise the volume enough to hear the beginning and then don't change it, that's when you get blown away by the rest of it!

Good mix you got there...it's really to die for!! Tell me if your friend doesn't love it, then we'll have to get him/her a doctor

EDIT: don't forget to give him/her instructions on how to listen to Exit...the darkness and good headphones are essential!

it really is the dogs bollocks (and you would know). If I was making it the only omissions would be Last Night On Earth (mainly because I think it sounds unfinished on the album) and i'd drop Running To Stand Still. Running just hasn't got that spark for me that it used to. Everything else I whole heartedly agree with.

I was planning to use the single release of LNOE which I think is stronger and replicates the live guitar better.

I've a soft spot for running, but it may not translate to others so well.

What would you replace those two tracks with (similar mood/style preferred)?

Hawkmoon or Zooropa for Last Night On Earth and maybe Stay, Satellite Of Love or The First Time for Running.

    all just personal preference though.
  11. You might wanna consider God Part II as well...not as a replacement for those two, just another track to thing about.
And I also agree with the LNOE thing...Running has lost it for me too, I don't know why...I used to love that track!
