"This could be the last time" as the Rolling Stones once sang... i feel like we might not get a new album this year still, I have a feeling that the "next" album might be the last but that it's not necessarily going to be released any time soon. The next album just HAS to have some of their greatest songs and at least one successful song in order for them to contnue on... Bono's "two crap albums and you're out" rule seems to be in their minds and in their head NLOTH was "one crap album"...
  2. I'm assuming that this "two crap albums and you're out" refers to consecutive albums, because if not they would have been struck out due to Pop.

  8. Two crap albums? NLOTH wasn't crap, 4-5 star reviews from most critics, the band is very happy with it...sales weren't that bad.

  10. They've said the two crap album deal before on several occasions. Stingray and Glastonbury have been rewritten too.
  11. So maybe something small realeased after the September release, perhaps U2.com subscribers gift with songs of the ascent ?
