1. or a Deluxe box or so

  2. That would be great....I dont know if you have Sirius Matt, but this weekend they have really played alot of great stuff from '98..the interviews are interesting....C Crowe said he thinks the sound of Yeild is so "unique"..I respect his opinion, but to me it sounds so dull....example being GTF,it sounds awful on Yeild..Eddie mumbles, and doesnt give any effort to the chorus...its like hes singing in slow motion,Yeild,IMO,is inaudible ...a shame,as there are so many great tunes on Yeild.
  3. I can get pearl jam radio on my ipad - is that the same thing? In any case, I've listened to it a few times - I enjoy it when they play (quality) bootlegs from the 1990's show.

Speaking of that decade, we could also do reviews of those remastered shows from the 1990's - Moore Theatre '92, Vegas '93, Atlanta '94, Melbourne '95, Berlin '96, Seattle '98, etc.....

I guess the only "problem" is that we already know they're all worthy of "five stars."
  4. Yes that's the same, put it on now if you can.....they have " the Rob " on now....he played a clip of Stone talking about No Way....it was played only 3 times in 98...its a Stone song,so he said " it of course should have been played more in 98,but Ed is more open to singing it now though"........interesting.
  5. I could use the remaster from Seattle 98...was Melbourne 98 remastered ?

    I'm seriously getting " back into " PJ last few weeks....so....watch out....LOL
  6. Don't forget the Orpheum 94 gig Matt....most of that show was released...22 songs...a few tracks were mp3s the band emailed out...we should review all those gigs after leg 1 '06....I don't count the shows the band played while opening for Petty (the end of June, early July)..so we should skip those IMO...

The Rob just said he " forgot how powerful the studio version of GTF is "....Matt...Ron....is it me ???...I can't listen to it....to each his own....Ed sounds bored singing GTF in the studio...zero passion there for me....
  7. They just played a Jack Irons demo called Small Mosquito...just a drum track, with steel drums on it as well...a bit of a Jamaican feel to it...first time this has been aired....I'm sure this will be included on the Yeild box set...

Jack Irons was interviewed...he talked about his heath issues,as to why he left the band, etc

    Ah, "Red Mosquito"....

I really disliked the album version of it - so much that I wouldn't even give it a chance on the Live on Two Legs compilation. I always thought to myself, "Why did they include this instead of a classic like 'Alive' or "Jeremy' or 'Animal' or 'RVM' or 'Spin the Black Circle' or 'Not For You' or 'Immortality" or..." You get the point.

Anyway, I think it's a pretty decent song nowadays. I just listened to what I consider to be the best version of it on my iPod while shopping in the grocery store - it's from the SLC '95 bootleg...wild guitars...EV's really into it. I suppose this performance was before it was even released! I must listen for any fan of the song.
  9. Now,do you feel as if 'Why didnt they include more off Yeild ?",as I do..
  10. Listening to the Seattle '98 remaster....

    WOW !!!
