1. If Gravity (B-Side on the Talk single) would have made X&Y though.... that would have made it so much better. Yet it also would have overloaded the album with soft songs (Fix You, Swallowed, and What If)...

Great song though, should have probably beat out What If IMO.
  2. Gravity is indeed a greagt song, but WHat If is just superb, touches me evfery time

  3. I agree
Gravity and What If are a similar meaning/concept of song but What If makes you hang on that little bit tighter.

And I'm one of those who underrate X&Y, justo for the simple reason that it was a "poor" secquel to their best album. It's like R&H and Joshua... R&H is a superb album full of excellent songs, but it's underrated due to being between Joshua and Achtung, two masterpieces. X&Y is full of excellent songs (and quite a lot of fillers too, but anyway), but AROBTTH is such a great great great album that X&Y's efforts get drowned

I WAS ABOUT TO BRING THAT UP LOL same with Radiohead's Amnesiac gets shat on because it followed Kid A.

I think even the fillers on X&Y have redeeming qualitys to them, unlike Mylo which has what, A HOPEFUL TRANSMISSION, MYLO XYLOTO, and that other one which means the albums really 11 songs, and if you get those 11 songs against any of their last albums, only like 3-5 of those songs are any good IMO
  5. GRAVITY IS GLORIOUS (same with What If but I mainly need to be in the mood for it)

did not know that. Altho I did suspect it with the album name and the transitions, and the songs telling a story...but it didn't really work out. Would have been nice tho, I'm fan of concept albums myself - which is the reason why I enjoyed the Linear storyline for NLOTH.
  7. the Linear tracklistting of NLOTH is epic, sometimes I listen to it in that order still.
  8. I'm going to London for 4 days tomorrow morning. Aiming for meeting some of the guys - a friend of mine is living there since some months ago and he has met all of them several times (except Will):

Wish me luck! I hope I come back with a signed Shiver single and a happy photo
  9. Lol, four days to meet Coldplay. It sounds very ambitious. Good luck though
  10. Mission accomplished.

  11. Wow That's so damn awesome, man! So incredibly happy for you, and I love how you somehow easily were able to get this after making it your mission just a few days prior.

    My man.
  12. Absolutely incredible, congrats Sergio

very jealous, looks like hes tired, maybe hes been up thinking of some songs for a few days.

While i'm on this forum, has anybody been keeping up with the Mylo Xyloto comics? I have just bought them all on iTunes because I am curious....great story so far
