  5. 28. Twist and Shout
    29. Shout
  6. SEN-FUCKING-SATIONAL. One of the most enjoyable shows I've been to. Three and a half hours of a 63-year-old legend banging out majestic tunes with the fine E Street Band accompanying him.

The requests were great. He took out those three: Jole Blon, Saint and Radio Nowhere. He did take Sherry Darling out from the crowd but it wasn't played. He must have forgotten. I'm annoyed as that is one of my favourite Springsteen songs! Clarence tribute during Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, but annoyingly no Jungleland. An eight year old kid came up and sang Waitin' On A Sunny Day for the chorus - that was a fantastic moment. Tougher Than The Rest was dedicated to a woman whose husband died. She requested it on a sign with a dedication to her husband on it too. Very great Rosalita too, well received from the crowd. So many memories over the last few hours, and I'm working at 9 tomorrow morning so I must sleep. Good night!

Also, Sergio, my friend who was working on security only knows three Springsteen songs! He only told us that he heard him soundcheck and say the words 'My Hometown', therefore we established it was that. Apparently he jammed a 12-bar blues during the soundcheck too.

I was trying to update the set for you guys via Twitter but Three (network) wasn't working because there must have been a lot of people using it at the time; so I couldn't get any internet connection at all for the whole concert.

PS. Ronnie, there was a Ramrod request. Not played though!

I like it. A little adventurous, nothing too daring, but miles ahead of the status quo. Although the lack of Darkness material is a little concering.

And God, I just wish Bruce would forget about that darn Johnny 99. Other than that, looks like it would have been a great one to see. 1 through 15 is good, standard WBT and 23-27 is nice, back to usual encores, even if it is a little short. Starting to get back towards looking like an Aussie set!
  8. A "normal" setlist, right on time for saturday.!!

    Altough Bruce is sometimes unpredictable.....
