  2. That's a setlist.
  3. OMG that setlist!! Love itttt
  4. Just got back. Having a cup of tea before heading off to bed, but a few points before I go;

    - A good gig, if not a bit underwhelming; pretty much an slightly extended arena show. Very similar to when I saw them in Cologne in March, just with a few covers and a new song added to the set.

    - The stage didn't really suit the venue; we had fairly decent seats along the touch line, all be it up in the heavens of the top tier, and whilst we could see the band, all the visual elements of the stage were completely lost.

    - Band were on good form as usual.

    So to sum up, whilst a good performance they didn't really adapt to the stadium element as I thought they would; like as if they thought their arena set-up on a festival stage, with a longer set list would do the trick. Instead those in the upper tiers became a bit disconnected, and those who had seen the arena shows had seen most of it before.
  5. The new song: Acknowledgment is a fitting name, since its just a long list of bands and others who have played Wembley. Kinda funny, but in no means will it ever be played again or should be recorded in a studio.

  6. The Queen&Freddie references have put a stupid smile on my face, and some tears on my eyes. Wow. The song itself is pretty dull, but the concept is fantastic.

    And well, the All These Things and Dustland Fairytale snippets fit in there perfectly. SHIVERS.
  7. That's actually a really cool song for the occasion! Feels more obvious than U2's Glastonbury yet somehow less cheesy even though it should be. Can't wait for this DVD!

    Love it!!
  8. Can't wait for the DVD either.

    There was also a Happy Birthday for Brandon (his Bday was on June 21st)... Another U2-ish detail haha
  9. HOLY SHIT

  10. i like how he simply refers to Coldplay as "Viva La Vida" lol.

    and is that "Holy Shit" in reference to the amount of people standing in the pit, or to the amount of people that are not in the stands?
  11. Both!
