  1. ok , thats way they have big wages ...but pay for a standard player a lot of money ?? I mean for Fellaini and Coentrao ...sure Bale is top 5 football players of the world and sure i think 60 /70 mill for him is ok ..but menay average players are paid 25 mill or 30 mill ...that is madness

    I think the players have to get the money of this circus ...not
    businessman ...the are the body of this big circus and business so is ok that they win a lot of money

    Some players that ensure you that you are going to win with them and there property of another club ...just for Messi, CR7 , Bale , Neymar and another one....sure this 4 players are top
    A step down : Falcao , Zlatan, Di Maria, Ozil, Ribery, Scwestainger ( i never know how to write it the blonde from Bayer Munich) , Aguero, Rooney , Lampard , Higuain , Cavani, Bezema, Iniesta, Xavi , etc

    Maybe the first players cost 50/60 mill ( except Messi ...he is 300 mill for me )
    the second step 30 / 40 mill
    There are others players maybe 20 mill , but the average players have to cost 10 mill or something like that

  5. Very happy with Tottenham's transfer window, we've gone from being a one man team, to having talent and depth all over the pitch (apart from LB). We also managed to shift a lot of money sucking, average players.
  6. The FA Chairman is going to set out his 'vision' for the future of the England team today. The responsibility of producing a good national side will be with the Premier Leagues clubs no doubt, who must do more to promote homegrown talent. I'm all for seeing good English players, but the national side can fuck off. I'd rather see them get turfed over by the likes of Spain and Germany again and again.

    I've not got a lot against Fellaini, he's a strong player which is what our midfield needs. It's the fact that he's fourth or fifth choice in the market. We could've had Fellaini for £23m before the season even started, but instead it was decided that Fabregas and Herrera were the top choices. Then we bid £28m for both Baines and Fellaini, a bid that Everton rejected before knocking £500k off the offer and removing Baines from the transfer just to push something through this summer. I think his release fee of £23m was too much to begin with.


    Maroune Fellaini has been an outstanding player for Everton for the duration of his stay,Sept 2008 to Sept 2013.His initial fee was £15M from Standard Liege rising to £17.5M which was realised.His release clause of £23.5M with an 'expiry' date was agreed by his agent and Everton,in particular the current Manager of Man.United,due to the farce that was endured by the protracted shenanigans in the whole Joleon Lescott affair to Man.City.By handing in a transfer request late on Monday night,it meant he waived any renumeration left on his contract,which had 2.5 years to run.If we had just sold him,he was due the remainder of his contract in salary.This is led to be believed around £4M.....his actual fee was £23.5M payed,now whether Man United reimbursed him the monies 'owed' on his Everton contract to secure him is open to conjecture.Everton have just saved £4M in his wages,plus £23.5M in a fee = £27.5M.But I am unclear whether Standard Liege get any sell on fee when we bought him in 2008.

    Standard Liege played Liverpool in a Champions League 3rd Round Qualifier in 2008,at 19 years of age Fellaini man-marked and played Steven Gerrard out of the 2 legs,he never got a sniff.Only a Dirk Kuyt penalty in the last minute of extra-time in the 2nd leg won the game.Everton then got drawn to play Standard Liege in the Europa Cup & Fellaini couldn't play for Everton.It is alleged that when Everton signed him Gerrard said..'...how did they get him ? He's some player him..' He came with a reputation of not being the fairest of players,as his sending off against Brasil in the first game of Belgiums 2008 Oylmpics campaign proved.He picked up about 12 yellow cards in his first season in the Premier League,he was always in and out of the side due to injury & suspension.But he learnt to curtail it and has improved.By his own admission,he is a defensive midfielder,sometimes box to box.We only played him off the lone striker due to Tim Cahill going completely off he boil in 2011/2012 season.It worked,as the 4-4 at Old Trafford & opening game of 2012/2013 proved,the 2 best games he had at Everton,the latter he was simply unplayable.Mind you,he was only up against Michael Carrick at centre-half,but still.

    If Man United use him the way his current Manager did at his old club the last 2 years,then it says a lot about the way the Man United team are gonna go under that regime.His last good game in midfield was when Everton drew 0-0 with Arsenal back end of last season.Made Jack Whilshere look the over rated player he his in that game.If the team has the right options around him,his best position is defensive midfielder.It's pretty ironic that Arsenal are crying out for a Fellaini type player in their team,and Man United are crying out for an Ozil.

    I personally feel he should have stayed until after Belgium win the World Cup in 2014,he would have put in some outstanding performances for his national team to catch the eye and have the option of joining a better club in Europe than his current employers.This is gonna be the Man United in the old Ron Atkinson days,promised much but delivered very little.For all you youngsters under 27,he was Manager before Ferguson and there was football in England before the Premier League started in 1992.

    As for Fellaini being 4th or 5th choice in the market,in 2008 when we got him he was Everton's 2nd choice because we actually wanted Steven Defour,so you don't always get what you want,but end up with better.Only thing it proves to me is lazy & incompetence scouting by Man United.The player they bought was managed for 5 years by Moyes.Under Ferguson,you didn't have a clue who they were buying until the deal had been done,never seen anything beforehand in the press.2 months Moyes has been there and the world and his wife know the targets.He ain't got the capability of attracting top players from abroad,no one knows who he is.Man United fans need to get used to playing 4-5-1 (even at home) going 1-0 up and then park the bus,when you need a goal to get into a game taking an attacker off and bringing on a defender,and when you think a substitution needs to be made you have to wait until about 70 mins.There is a reason why his nickname is Dithering Dave !

    Going back to lazy & incompetence,the same can be said of Roberto Martinez doing the same and getting 3 signings and a free from Wigan.Yep,the same players that played in a relegated team ! Doesn't exactly fill me with hope.I think this season Everton will just change positions with Liverpool,they have spent a lot of money to get 6th so they can have it.Their owners have invested heavily to get their target of Champions League,so if they don't do it this season and realise that target....'..taxi for Rodgers..' It used to be a top 3 with 1 team challenging for 4th,now the Premier League have 5 top teams,and 5 into 4 doesn't go.

    ...that's this year.And I can't see another team getting in,the rest are just making up the numbers (including my team) and will continue to do so.

    But as for Fellaini,he's a great player for club & country,still young enough and nowhere near his peak.Pity he chose to go where he has...
